Welcome to the new face of Thirsty for Tea!
After what seems like an endless slew of edits, mood boards, and color changes it’s officially done: Thirsty for Tea has graduated to the next level. With my updated design, I’m hoping to take my blogging journey to new heights: more recipes, more crafts, more reviews—a virtual tea break whenever you need it the most!
From a functional perspective, there are a few changes that you’ll want to note about the new site:
- ♥ The Recipe tab has now been streamlined to list my recipes in sub-categories. The recipes are listed alongside their photos for an easier, image driven search.
♥ The Steeps tab has also been broken down into sub-categories. This is where you’ll find my Tea of the Week posts. If you have a specific tea preference (like green tea), you can now access it directly.
♥ Recipe posts now include a print button, which enables you to print all or part of a recipe post.
♥ The biggest change you’ll notice is that I finally have social media buttons. Even though I officially reached my 1000th follower as of this past weekend (yay!), my social media sites are a different story. Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram…these are a few of the other ways that we can keep in touch!
I can’t begin to express how thankful I am to the brilliant Canadian web designing duo, Ashley and Dallas of Ashley & Malone. Blog redesign can be a seriously intimidating process, and they’ve graciously held my hand through every step of the way.
I’d also like to thank lifestyle photographer, Stephanie Trendocher of the gorgeous blog Beaux Mondes. If you love the header photo as much as I do, then all the credit goes to her.
The final thank you goes to you, my readers who love tea. I started this blog 2 years ago to share my passion for all things tea inspired, and can’t believe how many wonderful people I’ve met along the way. I have many exciting plans for Thirsty for Tea and hope you’ll stick around for what comes next!
***Please excuse any glitches over the next few days…rest assure, we are working on it!
